The image tells it all for the week leading up to the 20th July when I go to Istanbul. This is just another exploration of a place I have often thought about visiting, where the east meets the west.
It appears that there is virtually always a Wifi connection in the hostels and hotels, but whatever happens I'll be trying to keep up a steady flow of comments and pictures during the 8 days I'll be spending in Turkey. Not many days to explore this country which will mean 4 days in the capital, of 13 million people, and then only 3 more to get out to somewhere else before I fly home on the 28th July.
